Every day millions of cars, trucks, and motorcycles take to America’s roads, streets, and highways. For the most part they are able to travel with a minimum amount of difficulty; that is, without becoming lost, having accidents, or being stopped for a traffic violation. Additionally, they are able to estimate the amount of time that it will take them to go from one location to another and to determine which route is the better of two or more possible routes.
